New Valve Steam Controller?
Looks like a good chance, and maybe this week!
Well, well, well. What do we have here?

After ten years since the original, Valve might finally be gearing up to sell a follow-up to the 2015 Steam Controller. This ugly one-stick bastard right here:
Much maligned at launch, the first version had its fans and its critics, and plenty of people have wondered if Valve would ever take another swing. With the Steam Deck’s success, it always seemed logical they’d reuse that tech in a more traditional controller form.
And that’s exactly what this looks like. Based on the “leaked” images, it’s basically a Deck without the screen, sort of the reverse of what Sony did when it went from the PS5 controller to the PS Portal with the screen in the middle.
Skepticism is fair, though. So far, it’s still rumor, albeit with a reasonable chance of truth. WCCFTech reports an announcement could come as soon as this week, possibly alongside the long-whispered “HLX” project. And yes, that’s shorthand for Half-Life 3. (I have my doubts on this front.)
Will it actually happen this week? Maybe. If it does, will you pick one up? The first Steam Controller was a miss for me personally, but this new design looks far more like something I’d want in my setup. (Two sticks…durrr…)
Let’s see what Valve does, and whether this time, they can stick the landing. - Scott

I’m curious whether it will be easy to replace the sticks yourself. That could make or break it for me. Based on Valve’s stance on the Deck I’d assume so but I’m interested to see.
Not sure it will beat the 8bit
